About Us

The Make a Positive Difference Foundation was established in 2007 after a mission trip to Kosovo by Roger Anderson, M.A.P.D. President. In his visits to fledgling Christian churches in Kosovo, Roger met many young Christian students who were searching for effective ways to become leaders in spreading their Christian faith in their communities and country. Believing that higher education was a key component in developing Christian leaders, Roger assembled a team of individuals who shared his belief and established the Make a Positive Difference Foundation.

The mission of the Make a Positive Difference Foundation is to enhance the lives of young International Christian students and the children of missionary families by providing financial support and scholarships for higher education. By providing educational opportunities that these students might not otherwise have, we feel that these students will become strong, upright Christian leaders and will make a positive difference in their homes, communities, and countries in the future.

Senior Director of Learning, The Home Depot, Inc.

Roger Anderson has over 23 years in various corporate leadership positions at The Home Depot including store manager positions, Director of Learning for a field Division and is currently serving as a Senior Director of Learning for the company. In this role, he is responsible for the development and deployment of all training to 300,000 plus associates across the company.

Roger has long had an interest in developing Christian leaders. He has served as a deacon in his church and was responsible for large scale volunteer efforts to serve in his local community. He has a great passion for ‘giving back’ to the community and has had great success in getting others to see the value and blessing of serving others. Roger has been a member of two mission teams to Kosovo.


Senior Manager of Learning Solutions, The Home Depot

Robert is currently a Senior Manager of Learning Solutions at The Home Depot. He is responsible for consulting with merchant teams to provide the best, most cost effective learning solutions for store associates. Previous positions at The Home Depot include; Store Manager, Regional Learning Manager, and International Business Trainer.

Robert enjoys volunteering in the community. He has helped build Habitat for Humanity homes, and has participated in several church outreach programs. Robert also mentors military personnel assimilating back to civilian careers through American Corporate Partners. He lives in the greater Atlanta area and in his spare time can be found cycling on the Silver Comet Trail.


President, Performance Based Learning, LLC

Greg has over 25 years in business and education. As President of Performance Based Learning, Greg provides management and leadership training to a variety of companies. Previously, he worked as a manager of training for Home Depot for almost 10 years. Additionally, Greg has served as a both a full time and part-time professor of business administration for over 15 years. In addition to his professional experience, Greg has been an active member of Florida State University’s Instructional Systems Alumni Council for 4 years. As a member of the Council, Greg served as Chair of the Fundraising Committee for 3 years. Throughout his career, Greg has demonstrated a strong commitment to student learning and higher education.
